Mug

This mug boasts strong fiery colours from the salt used in glazing. The footing is an earthy matt orange , while the top is a smooth deep orange which runs to a white line where the glaze is thicker. The handle breaks into green hues where it has been affected by wood ash. The interior is pale with an iron speckle from the clay body. The mug has drawn to a slight oval shape in the intensity of the heat in the firing.
