Sian Daniel : Textile Artist : Pembrokeshire and Kenya

I am lucky enough to live in 2 beautiful parts of the world. One in west Wales, the other Kenya. Both wild, full of colour, texture and interesting shapes. The natural shapes and subjects which interest me are similar in both countries. The huge difference is  the colour palette. Mostly soft and  muted in wales and strong and vibrant in Africa.
Having trained in graphic design, worked in textiles, painted in oils then learnt silversmithing I am constantly trying to create pieces in which I can combine all my skills knowledge.
I have exhibited in Nairobi, London and Pembrokeshire.
