Rhian Nest James studied at Cardiff College of Art and Exeter College of Art where she specialised in Illustration.Her 35-year career as a professional Illustrator followed, working for publishing houses here and overseas including Sydney where she lived for many years.

She is a painter and forager finding inspiration from natural materials and forms.The pieces in this exhibition are an exploration and celebration of the strengths and fragility of nature
