Originally designed as an eating bowl for children, the bowl has a strong rim and comforting lugs. It is a lovely shape to hold in the hand, suitable for breakfast or soup. The Shino glaze is breaking into warm oranges with a strong speckle. The rim is decorated in a much deeper Shino glaze which breaks almost to black.
