The geometric pattern which overlays the words are inspired by quilt work, the time and skill along with the comfort and weight of a quilt feels like the perfect match to the sentiment.
Morus y Gwynt ac Ifan y Glaw, gymeriadau o hen lyfrau stori Cymreig, mae'r geiriau yn y darn hwn yn eiriau y byddai fy mam-gu yn eu chanu i mi fel plentyn, nid wyf wedi gallu dod o hyd iddynt yn unman ond rwy'n ddigon ffodus i fod wedi gallu gofyn iddi eu canu i mi unwaith yn rhagor. Fe wnes i nodyn ohonynt ac nawr mae'r geiriau yn rhan o'r papur, gymaint ag y maent yn rhan ohonof i.
Morus y Gwynt ac Ifan y Glaw are characters found in an old welsh story books, the words in this peace are words my grandmother would sing to me as a child, I’ve not been able to find them anywhere but I’m lucky enough to have been able to ask her to sing them for me once more. I made a note of them and now the words are a part of the paper as much as they are a part of me.
