
Celebrating Midsummer and Druid traditions of ‘Gathering Day’. Alban Hefin translates as ‘Light of Summer’ and it was traditional for people to gather many sacred and medicinal herbs on this day, with it being the longest day of the year. Bonfires were also traditionally set to represent the sun’s strength at this time of the year.
