I have a lifelong interest in observing and drawing wildlife, particularly birds. In my printmaking practice I try to capture something of their movement and character.

I make limited editions of original prints on an etching press in my Welsh studio.

I prefer to draw from life as much as possible and then use the drawings as the basis for making prints.  I’m sometimes forced to use photographic references, as birds have a habit of flying away!
