A hilltop view of the far-reaching landscape on Senja, I was looking here at the stillness of the fjord against the rolling sky. There’s a tension to the stillness because the weather changes so quickly, and you’re never too sure what’s coming next.
I used a process of ink and bleach here. Fleeting and unprecious, these paintings were made sat in the snow trying to capture the spaces left behind - I can still feel my cold feet when I look at this.
The giclee prints are identical to the originals, and the saturated nature of the ink works beautifully as a print.
They are printed on heavyweight paper at the highest quality.
