Collection: Tree Of Life

Since the dawn of humanity we have had an intrinsic relationship with the trees of this planet. We have developed because of them, them giving us the very thing we need to breathe.  They are food, shelter, transport and fuel.

Artists have been in thrall to the tree since the beginning of time - many of the makers we have met along our own journey since the first Art at the Hall in Llangathen are rising to the call for putting all things tree at the centre of this next exhibition.  

Mother Tree. Sacred Tree. Tree of Life. They are everything and we devastate them at our peril. This show at Studio Cennen is our homage to the ultimate plant.
