Originally designed as an eating bowl for children, the bowl has a strong rim and comforting lugs. It is a lovely shape to hold in the hand, suitable for breakfast or soup. Inside is decorated with a dark brown Shino glaze which has a smooth finish and deep rich colour. It has a paler orange speckled Shino on the rim and underside.
