"My paintings are rooted in a love of colour, balanced composition and expressive potential of paint. Working instinctively, I create bold, semi abstract works that explore the space between observation and imagination. Vibrant hues, especially ultramarine, are counterbalance by cool neutrals with patterns and marks evoking emotion and energy. Inspired by my immediate environment and experiences of long-distance travel, I aim to create work that invites viewre to connect and reflect.
