Small box, ideal for jewellery as it doubles as a ring stand. The vibrant colours and wild grain of the yew are caused by mineral staining in the tree. This combined with the clean grain of the oak, with quarter-sawn medullary rays adds wonderful natural detail to the simple form. The top of the nib features pyrographed detail to further the contrast. Finished with a natural oil/wax blend.
