Wednesday 20th October from 6-8pm at Studio

Join artists Sarah Rhys and Caroline Vitzthum for a reading and discussion group at Studio Cennen in October. The event is the second of a series of three events taking place between Tuesday 19th and Thursday 21st October and invites people to engage with themes informing their collaborative project titled ‘Holobiont’, developed in partnership with The National Botanic Garden of Wales. ‘Holobiont’ explores research and creative response to our interconnectedness with the vegetal world, the complexity of certain plantlife as well as contemporary conservation methods. New works will be shown at The National Botanic Garden of Wales between autumn 2021-2022.

The event will take place on Wednesday 20th October from 6-8pm at Studio Cennen, Ffairfach, Llandeilo. The duo will give an insight into their collaborative project as well as their individual practices and share a selection of texts, which will be sent out by email in advance. No prior knowledge required, all welcome. Spaces are limited to 10.
