Ceramic wall hung sculpture by Llandeilo based sculptor Gill Still
Circa 1980's
"Owned by my aunt Mary Davies. Mary lived in New Road with her husband, Kenneth Davies, who was the local dentist until they retired in the early 1980s. Gillian Still was their neighbour at some point in the 1970s and Mary was a great fan (and buyer) of her work - I remember being taken to visit her in her studio at home, which must have been in the mid/late 1970s.
Sadly we don't really have a suitable place for this piece and hence it's time for it to find a more appreciative home.
