Viviene Albiston

Viv trained in Ceramics at the West Wales School of the Arts.

"From my first touch of clay, I was hooked. Handbuilding, throwing, sculpting ,it all fascinated me. 

This particular body of work was made in response to a visit to Amroth beach, which has a petrified forest on it. It  wasn`t the forest that caught my eye but the little things growing in and around the shoreline. 

I live in a beautiful area of Wales and am never at a loss for inspiration within my practise and it can range from sculpted figures to delicately sprigged porcelain."
