A defining feature of Port Talbot’s landscape is the town’s brutalist M4 viaduct and slip road, perched 15 metres above the town's rooftops. The heather and bracken-covered slopes of the surrounding mountains pin the industrial town to the coast and provide a visual contrast to the grey industrial skyline.
