“I am a mixed media artist and printmaker who is inspired by all things in nature. My work is a response to the place and plants where I live and the beautiful land and seascapes of West Wales. I use botanical and monotype printing techniques and these form the foundation of most of my work. I enjoy experimenting and combining different processes and media to create botanical and landscape inspired mixed media artwork on paper and canvas. I often incorporate free motion machine embroidery as well as hand stitch which add a further dimension to my work. More recently I have been exploring create 3D works in paper and stitch including vessels and wearable art brooches.

I moved to Wales in 2016 and work from my home studio in Llangrannog, Ceredigion. Nestled in nature, it is located in a tranquil spot on the edge of a wildflower meadow with the Nant Ddu stream running alongside, which combined with the garden birds provide a relaxing soundtrack to my day. It is also only a short walk away from my local beach and when the wind is in the right direction I can also hear the waves breaking on the shoreline. A truly inspiring place to live and work which I hope is reflected in my work.”
