This was painted from my walk down to the village for supplies, a steep hill down from the Graphite works I was staying in. The gantry was a good marker point of how far I had left to go.
I used a process of ink and bleach here. Fleeting and unprecious, these paintings were made sat in the snow trying to capture the spaces left behind - I can still feel my cold feet when I look at this.
The giclee prints are identical to the originals, and the saturated nature of the ink works beautifully as a print.
They are printed on heavyweight paper at the highest quality.
