Collection: Philippa Mitchell : Painter : Haverfordwest

Inspired by observations and my impressions of specific places, I aim to convey my passionate interest in the natural environment and wildlife in my paintings. My work tells a story or records a moment that I have experienced. I have been lucky to have lived and worked in several wild and beautiful places around the UK including the Highlands of Scotland, the Fife coast, Gloucestershire Cotswolds, the Norfolk fens, and now West Wales. My husband is a bird ecologist, so we have migrated between bird hotspots. I was until recently based in the East Neuk of Fife, near St Andrews. Now we are living, and I am painting, in Pembrokeshire. I have a whole new beautiful landscape to discover on my doorstep.
