Circa 1990 - There was a 1999 Anthony Hepworth Bath exhibition which included these Breton boat & landscape paintings. The boards are drift pieces found on the Bay of Audierne, known as the “Long Beach” by Peter. The skeletal old boats were painted mostly at Le Guilvinec
This piece was saved in 2019 after the death of Aileen, Peter’s wife. The entire collection of oils was stored in a small stone barn at the Bath house since 1980
