Hollow vessel from locally sourced Welsh laburnum, featuring burr figure, which is extremely rare for this species. The simple 'teardrop' shape lets the beauty of the wood speak for itself. Turned on a lathe, the outside was turned first, followed by the inside through a small 21mm opening, to leave a delicate, even wall thickness of around 4-6mm. The piece has been finished with a natural oil/wax finish. Not to be filled with water.
