I’m an artist who is inspired every day by the rural landscape in which I live, and especially by wonderful old Welsh barns. I love working in acrylic, oil and mixed media to capture the textures of decaying barns and the unique atmosphere of the Welsh rural landscape. I also enjoy sketching and gathering information using a number of materials, although the trusty ink pen is probably my favourite medium. I’ve recently discovered linocut printmaking which I’m thoroughly enjoying – the directness of the images really appeals to me.
