Martine Ormerod : Artist : Borth

Martine is based in rural West Wales where the ancient landscape, stories and natural life inspire her images. For the past 30 years Martine has practiced as an artist and freelance community artist, working in Cardiff, the South Wales Valleys and more recently Ceredigion. 

She is interested in the instinctive act of making a mark, a stain that records a happening and its effect, creating temporary partial images when the whole picture can’t be seen.
