Paint Like a Ross — A Creative Escape this Summer
We’re inviting you to slow down, switch off, and join us for something a little different.
Pink skies, a classic Bob Ross landscape reworked to embrace the Blush pink palette of this exhibition.

Pink waterlily, introduces the lesser known florals collection that uses the Bob Ross wet on wet technique. Emma trained in Switzerland last year to gain her floral teaching certification and this workshop is the very first opportunity to come and try out the floral technique yourself.
In collaboration with our neighbour Emma of Little Tree Studio, Studio Cennen is hosting a relaxed, hands-on painting session inspired by the joyful techniques of Bob Ross. Together, we’ll explore his much-loved wet-on-wet (alla prima) method while creating
Over three unhurried hours, you’ll be guided step by step in a welcoming, supportive setting. Whether you’ve never picked up a paintbrush or you paint regularly, this session is about enjoying the process, embracing creativity, and letting yourself unwind. No experience is needed — just come as you are.
Emma is a certified Bob Ross instructor, trained by Bob Ross, Inc., and brings warmth, encouragement and a lightness of touch to every class. Her studio is right next door to the gallery at The Old Cheese Factory, so you can easily combine your session with time in the exhibition — we’d love you to make an afternoon of it.
Your place includes:
– A three-hour guided oil painting session
– All materials provided
– Your finished painting to take home the same day
The session is designed for adults. Young people aged 12–16 year olds are very welcome when accompanied by a paying adult (separate booking required).
Spaces are limited to keep the atmosphere relaxed and personal.
We can’t wait to paint with you — and see your own happy little tree come to life.

Followed by a visit to the gallery to view the exhibition. -
Friday 3rd July, 5.30pm –8pm
With the opportunity to visit the exhibition from 3pm beforehand.
