Karen Langdon : Collage : Ferryside

My art is inspired by the natural world and I try to bring a little of the outside inside, through the use of leaves, flowers and plants in some of my printed papers which form part of my collage work. I use a variety of mediums including acrylic, ink, watercolour, and my own printed, 'found' and dyed papers. Making art for me is best described as 'being in my happy place' and I passionately believe making art, viewing art in investing in art should be available to everyone.
