My practice encompasses an eclectic approach to mediums and subject matter, ranging from modelled figurative sculpture in bronze, direct carving in stone and wood, to painting. All these disciplines are upheld by a passion for drawing from nature, and attempting to define our place and relationship to the landscape in its broader sense.  

I love applying drawing in equal measure to sculpture, painting and as a medium in its own right, whether it is through modelling clay, seeing how the light falls on form, sketching in  charcoal and the pressure of the mark, or in the  viscosity of paint…

The diverse  flora and fauna of West Wales, poetry and literature are a constant source for my paintings and sculpture.
