Emma Christmas : Designer Maker : New Forest

I had completed a degree in ceramics before embarking on a 20 year career in the fashion industry and I wanted to return to hands on making and being as close as possible to any products I design. Now, luxury is being able to work independently and slowly with time to think, feel and experiment.

A collection of utterly charming ceramic pots made by Emma Christmas for Poetware, evoke the woodland and its diverse habitat for birds. Decorated with natural forms from the forest floor their pots and sculptures bring us closer to nature. 

The pots can be used in several different ways, but in particular you can use them for flower displays when you fill the bottom and the top with water, hence their name. Or you can just look at them! They are superb decorative pieces.
