Duncan works predominately outside to produce paintings of the Welsh landscape.
The conditions he finds there, dictate the chosen medium.

He is drawn to less disturbed corners of the landscape in order to convey a sense of wilderness, weather and season.

During lockdown I turned my attention to my more immediate surroundings drawing inspiration from the Garden and working on the most intimate scale with a series of postcard size paintings.
