Carys Evans : Painter : Swansea

Following a career spanning 3 decades as a primary school teacher, Carys has made the successful transition to artist, showing her work in numerous prestigious institutes such as the Royal West Academy and the Royal Cambrian Academy.

Her work chronicles the lives of women, the ordinary and domestic. She achieves this using mixed media, such as oil, pastel, acrylic and often household emulsion, from her studio in Langland.
