In the language of flowers, the eglantine rose represents the wounding of a lover. In this piece an infestation of gall wasps has disfigured the perfect rose buds but in so doing has created a curious beauty of its own.
This is a display piece, not to be worn.
Five silver rings, porcelain plinths, rose buds, red thread.
