Contained

This artwork responds to the impacts of global urban expansion on the natural world. In the piece lichen, a marker for clean air, is contained and constricted by geometric forms within a regimented row. It questions our ability to reconsider our actions when we continuously replace natural forests with ever growing concrete jungles.

This is a display piece, not to be worn.
