Natural lore, with plants and people interrelated in the scheme of things was an ever present, part of daily life. Old wives’ tales, potions and lotions, superstition, myth and magic influenced our survival, and the hopes and fears of mankind. This piece, A Part / Apart is a reminder of the importance of this symbiotic relationship and its knowledge, that could so easily be lost.
