Collection: Breathe : Inspire : Spirit - Exhibition
We all need inspiration when creating, but where does it flare from? The word we all know comes from the Latin inspirae, ‘to breathe into’ or ‘to draw in air’, perhaps by the gifting of an idea or truth, or in the divine or spiritual sense. Spir means ‘breathe’, the underpinning of life. We hear the tune of it in inspiration and expiration, in respiration and perspiration. Our inner bodies are in constant conversation with the outside world.
