“I am inspired by the intricate patterns and forms found in the natural world, embellishing functional ware with illustrations of various species of flora and fauna from my surroundings in the West Country.

My work is hand built from thin slabs of white stoneware clay onto which a black slip is applied and carved through using sgraffito techniques, revealing the contrasting clay body underneath to create various patterns and textures.”
